MODIFIED PROGRAM DUE TO COVID:
TUES & WED ONLY 3:50-5:00PM LIMITED TO 15 GIRLS. MUST WEAR MASK. ALL COVID REGS FOLLOWED INLCUDING DISTANCING, TEMP CHECKS, HAND WASHING ETC. GIRLS ATTENDING SCHOOL WILL BE DISMISSED TO THE GYM AT 3:30 FOR LIGHT SNACK, BATHROOM RUNS ETC.
BETTY WILL GREET YOU AT GYM DOORS BETWEEN 3:50 AND 3:55 FOR TEMP CHECKS. DOORS WILL CLOSE AT 4PM. CLASS WILL STOP AT 4:50 TO GET GIRLS READY AND SEPARATED FOR DISMISSAL. DISMISSAL WILL BE OUTSIDE AT THE GYM DOORS AS PARENTS ARRIVE.

OUR MOTTO IS “HOOP GIRLS WHIRL THE WORLD” With a big H - for HAPPY!!! Hoop Girls have a whirl of a time, getting happy and fit, while burning calories hooping it up to their favorite pop tunes using beautifully designed hoops. Our Fitness Hoops ( they can purchase from Betty) are handmade, slightly weighted, larger hoops, which makes learning hooping easier for beginner and challenging for the pro. We start with a dynamic warm up using the hoops, followed by Hula Hooping and learning some awesome 'hooping tricks” and eventually, full choreographed HOOP DANCE routines. As the class progresses and the girls master some “Hoop Tricks” they then collaborate together to create their very own choreography. The class will end gentle yoga stretch and some fun games. We do our best to have a Hooping performance for parents on last day (about 10 min before then end of the last class). Potential performance in various local events such as Vets Day Parade, Thanksgiving Spectacular, Holiday Tree Lightings, St Pats Parade, Alive at 5, Walk for Hope and more.
Monday is beginner/intermedaite class.
Wed Hoopers must be able to Hoop well on waist and have had at least 2 classes with Betty.
Friday is intermediate at least one class with Betty.
Hooping is a wonderful form of exercise, self expression, and creativity. It improves fitness, stamina, endurance, strengthens Core and improves hand-eye co- ordination, proprioception, balance and motor skills. Hoop Girls is also a phenomenal stress reducer.
